A magazine plug intended to reduce the number of cartridges that a tube magazine could hold for purposes of hunting. This plug was developed in an effort to comply with the Federal Migratory Bird Treaty Act and other State provisions. Application date was recorded as January 31, 1950; patent number 2635378.

The diameter of the top portion where the patent number is stamped is approximately .965" and the diameter of the tube is .915".
